Jachthaven Hindeloopen is a high-quality marina. Every berth is equipped with an electricity and drinking water connection. The petrol station is easy to reach and your car can be parked at guarded car park, for as long as you want / need to.

If you are a sports enthusiast, you have come to the right place. We have a covered swimming pool, a small fitness centre and a tennis- and squash court. If you wish to relax you might want to visit our sauna and solarium. Children can have fun in our playground and the children’s farm. Our croissant shop has fresh rolls and coffee every morning. You can even enjoy our breakfast buffet.

Hindeloopen and it’s surroundings

The magical street scene of Hindeloopen: cosy streets, wooden bridges over narrow canals. The many art shops and studios create a colourful scene. The old harbour is a popular place to visit with it’s many outdoor cafés. 
Hindeloopen used to be a closed community with it’s own culture, language and unique folkloric costumes. It was and is famous in the Netherlands and beyond for it’s richly painted furniture and other objects. This unique folk art made Hindeloopen in the 17th and 18th century very prosperous, which can still be seen at the capital captains homes. Other distinct buildings are the Hidde Nijland Museum, the lock house with it’s so called ‘lie bench’ dating from 1619, the protestant church from 1632 and the Wester-tower dating from 1593.
